I have always been a historian by nature, since I was six years old and my UU Sunday School class had us pick roles for working on a project. Like Calvin, I sought to change my world by drawing on a cardboard box; instead of a transmogrifier, I made a time machine.
Life went around some corners; I started blogging here at LiveJournal in 2001; things went up and down but for the most part kept getting better.
Now I'm a historian by trade. Since 2013 I have worked in the museum field, and life is really excellent. The future is bright, and I am happy.
